Note 4: Although not necessarily a full service in the sense of the wide functional scope described in the Certification Authority and Identity Provider Profiles, it fulfils the requirements for service approval in that it has policy and practice statements, subscribers and relying parties (usually independent TSP partners), statements of liability acceptance and so on. It must be fully assessed against all of the criteria in the Profiles that apply to it.

 

Note 5: Taken with the Fee of £3K for the Certification Authority or Identity Provider Profile, the cost of an Approval against all of the individual Service Profiles is therefore £20K for a CA and £17K for an IdP - the same as for the full CA/IdP Service Approval above.

Note 6: Such a Service Component may not be able to be assessed against all of the criteria in a particular Profile, for example it may not yet be associated with a particular Service Policy. tScheme’s decision on the suitability of a Component for assessment is final.
