Approved Service - Service Description
The subject service of this Grant of Approval is the Universal Identity Service (UIS) from Verizon (UK) Ltd.
In accordance with Validating and Verifying the Identity of an Individual in Support of HMG Online Services’ (GPG45), this service issues credentials to end users (Users) that at minimum meet the requirements for Personal Registration at LOA 2. The Universal Identity Services Credential Policy addresses the policies related to the life cycle management of credentials issued and consumed by the Verizon Universal Identity Services for exchanging authentication and authorization data within the Universal Identity Services community. The Universal Identity Services Community includes Universal Identity Services Enterprise Customer Relying Parties (Private and Public) and/or Users.
