Approved Service - Service Description

The subject service of this Grant of Approval is the IDaaS Service from Experian Limited.

The Government Digital Service, (GDS), provides an Identity Assurance scheme (Verify) that enables citizens using on line government services to select an Identity provider from a pool of service providers maintained within a centralised Hub. Experian’s Identity as a Service, (IDaaS) solution is one of the Identity Providers within the Hub.

Experian are providing services via the Hub for citizens utilising electronic government processes that require identity assurance in accordance with ‘Validating and Verifying the Identity of an Individual in Support of HMG Online Services’ (GPG45), this service issues credentials to customers that at least meet the requirements for Personal Registration at LoA 2.
