ChamberSign Limited: ChamberSign Electronic Trust Service

Former tScheme Registered Applicant [updated 04 July 2005]

On 20 September 2001, tScheme formally accepted ChamberSign Limited's request for Registered Applicant Status in respect of their Electronic Trust Service.

Due to recent business developments, ChamberSign have now informed tScheme that it will not be possible for them to complete a detailed assessment within the timescales originally agreed. ChamberSign have confirmed that they do intend to submit their service for tScheme approval in due course, but further details of their new assessment programme are unavailable currently.

With effect from Friday 13th September 2002, ChamberSign have therefore withdrawn from Registered Applicant status, pending their subsequent application now expected in 2003.

On 27 February 2004, tScheme formally accepted ChamberSign Limited's request for Registered Applicant Status in respect of their Electronic Trust Service.

tScheme have since been notified that ChamberSign will be deferring its application for tscheme approval in order to implement wider strategic objectives in quality control and technical resilience. ChamberSign is working with its partner, Trustis, to ensure the highest level of service and security in the e-trust market and intends to proceed with the service at a later date.
